Explore the stunning central Cotswolds through a choice of three scenic loops of 50km, 75km and 100km.
The central Cotswolds is the epitome of typical English landscapes filled with green rolling hills, woodlands and charming little towns and villages with old stone walls.
We created these three stunning routes starting and ending at a pub we adore - The Village Pub. We usually drive there with the bikes in the boot so that we can end our ride with a great feast, and not have to jump back on the bikes to get home. However, you can easily take a train to Cirencester and then join the loops from the station.
After leaving The Village Pub, you will cycle along beautiful country lanes, taking in the endless views of the valleys, lush landscapes and cows grazing. As you roll through the farmlands and villages you will pass by many amazing photo opportunities and we highly recommend some mini detours to take a look around the villages.
Our favourite place to refuel, in our opinion, is The Green Dragon Inn (on the 70km and 100km loops). This quaint traditional pub in Cockleford has a lovely beer garden, ideal on sunny days.
Pedal on through more lanes and quaint villages before you end up back at The Village Pub for a deluxe pub lunch pack at the start (just remember to book your table in advance)!
