We spent months searching for the lightest components to make this CFR frame the lightest Aeroad in the world and we had so much fun...but did make it under 6kilos?
What started out as a project to learn how to build my own bike from scratch turned into a crazy - but very fun project to build the Worlds Lightest Canyon Aeroad.
It would have been too easy to just buy the most expensive parts from the internet and called it a day but we set ourselves some goals that are important for any bike build. It had to be safe, perform well, and be as affordable as possible.
Those goals made the build so much more fun and we spent months scouring the internet for the best parts we would find.
We ended up making some compromises to make sure the bike would shift, descend, and was still super fun to ride.
